Jacob Blair Tait
Hi, my name is Jacob Blair Tait (Jake to some… well most actually)! I am an audio engineer, media composer and musician who lives in Waiuku, New Zealand.
I have worked on a whole lot of amazing films as a composer and sound designer. From short films to features I tend to get stuck in and enjoy the whole lot of them. I bring to the table over a decade of sound experience from live performances to in studio recordings.

Reviews
“I have a victories and losses column, Jake had far more victories than losses and I’d work with him again!”
Composer for “The Tavern”
“This EP is intense, it’s mesmerising, and it’s engaging. Our Great Nation showcases Jacob Blair Tait’s ability to aurally paint an epic setting, letting the listener fill in the story’s blanks themselves.”
Our Great Nation - Cinematic EP
Rachel Potbury
For my whole life, I have always been in the pursuit of Creativity - from being a young child where no piece of paper was safe from my art, to becoming a teenager and learning how to play the bass and record sound, to getting to complete a Diploma in Fashion Design and Practice and now working on sound from a film perspective.
I’ve taken many opportunities to learn, further develop my skills but still love to try new things and see how I can better visual media with audio soundscapes.
